Laurentian Environmental Center

Located in the Superior National Forest in Northeastern Minnesota, the Laurentian Environmental Center is a public residential educational center that combines environmental and leadership education with outdoor recreation programs. It is owned and operated by Moundsview Public Schools.

Education and Outreach

Earthwise Challenge for students, where students learn about energy, water and the conservation of both. Curriculum that focuses on renewable energy resources in Minnesota and, more specifically, near Laurentian.
